An overgrown hillside with an expansive view
An overgrown hillside with an expansive view was the starting point for this delicate development in Moonlight Bay, Raglan. 4 distinct pods were designed to sit at various points on the steep site, with connections through glass hallways and an external staircase.
An emphasis on the dwellings ability to host guides both the internal and external spaces, with the capacity to sleep 12 comfortably and feed many more with the in-built outdoor table and bespoke kitchen hutch.
Vertical cedar, cedar batons and dimond veedek make up the external cladding, with a playful use of cedar, oak and plywood used throughout the interiors bringing a familiar bach feel.
